Hi again, and welcome to the 2nd instalment of this week’s newletter. It’s a bit of a mixed bag I suppose but my pen is wanting to write these things, now!
Firstly, may I share a lovely picture of Sweden, where I’ve just returned from after a visit to family.
We had a lovely week, if hard going at time due to me and hubby both getting a dreadful cold and the little family started the week with upset tummies! Despite all this and feeling pretty poorly at times, I couldn’t help but feel grateful. Grateful we could visit our loved ones, grateful we weren’t all ill at the same time. Grateful we could help each other and grateful we were all together. It just pinged into my mind that whatever the circumstance there is likely to be something to be grateful for even if it is something tiny. I was also grateful that we all felt better towards the end and coming home wasn’t the awful experience I was fearing it might be. Lots of new memories made, lovely walks and lots of laughter, mainly due to our beautiful, comical granddaughter. I just wanted to share that and now I shall share a little tale of one of our walks.
It was just the three of us on this particular day, our son and us and he took us into the forest for a little walk. We were trotting along nicely, chatting and laughing and normally, I’m quite alert to what’s around me, but not this day!
All of a sudden, Son calls out ‘back up!’ and get flat. There, just a short way from us up on a rock was a mother Moose and her baby!! A beautiful sight, but also enough to get the adrenaline surging. As you likely know, Mummies are very protective and Moose are flippin’ big. We back off and got into the side out of sight and waited briefly, thinking she and baby would likely move off. Our son told us that the Moose see in 2D and so if you hide behind a tree or lay flat against something it is unable to see you clearly. I am glad it wasn’t put to the test. Mum and Baby stayed just where they were and by was I grateful (again) as they can move very fast for big animals.
So, that’s my brush with Sweden’s wildlife and later on that day I quickly penned this rhyme.
THE FOREST
Forest dreams
Of woodland streams
Rocks on high
Moose nearby
Watching us with wary eye
Daring us to go by.
Protected and shadowed by Pine and Spruce
Our hiding place they could not deduce.
A forest walk with adrenaline high
And all beneath a greying sky.
Back home now, with loved ones, safe and sound.
But day after morrow, homeward bound.
The Angels now are a-calling and I hope I shall have enough room to share the next Rainbow Thread card but first, I’m guided to share this poem. I say a poem for it’s been on my mind quite a while that it should be a song, but, I am not a music writer! If any of you have that skill and can help, please contact me!
THE ANGELS
The Angels are calling.
Calling to you,
To ask you to listen now,
And then, to do.
(Chorus?) Angels, Angels, be here with me.
Be with me now and help me to see.
Angels, Angels, show me the way
To do and be the best every day.
Listen can you hear them,
Like music on the air?
Can you see them, feel them?
Beings so fair.
(Chorus) Angels, Angels, be here with me.
Be with me now and help me to see.
Angels, Angels, shown me the way
To do and be the best every day.
The Angels are with you
Each and every day,
To guide and steer you and show you the way.
(Chorus) Angels, Angels, be here4 with me.
Be with me now and help me to see.
Angels, Angels, show me the way
To do and be the best every day.
Look, listen, feel, open your eyes and see,
And the beautiful Angels will help you to be
The best that is you, the best of all,
To help you walk forward, strong and tall.
(Chorus?) Angels, Angels be here with me.
Be with me now and help me to see.
Angels, Angels show me the way
To do and be the best every day.
Strong and tall, fearless and of the light.
Banish all fears and the darkness of night.
They’re here, right now. Can you hear them call?
A message of Love, for one and all.
(Chorus) Angels, Angels be here with me.
Be with me now and help me to see.
Angels, Angels shown me the way.
To do and be the best every day.
And now for the next card…..
CRYSTALLINE WHITE RAY – ARCHANGEL SELAPHIEL & LADY HUMILITY
Archangel Selaphiel (Prayer of God) is he who aid and teaches us to connect through the act of prayer and to also connect with our deepest selves, our thought and feelings, through prayer. He may assist in clearing the mind of our distractions in order to enable prayer and also, to receive a response! Sometimes we not find it easy to interpret or understand what we receive and Archangel Selaphiel can help here too. He is often depicted with his hands crossed over his chest like a sign of his humility and sometimes with a water container and two fish. In the so called apocryphal tests the Great Grandfather of Noah (of the Ark fame) has experience of Archangel Selaphiel. The Grandfather (Ezra) becomes overwhelmed about the pains people inflicts upon themselves through their ways, or choices (or sins as they may be labelled). He was in such a despair was Ezra but he speaks of Archangel Selaphiel coming to hold him close and comfort him and to help him get back up on his feet, or put him back into a more balanced emotional state.
Lady Humility – I’d not come across Lady Humility or indeed, Archangel Selaphiel until recently but what came to me is that Lady Humility is one who encourages us, shows us how tobe humble and to set aside our ego in order that we act, and speak from the heart. Lady Humility speaks of surrendering to the Will of God/Creator/Source and the plan that is already written for you. She encourages a quiet confidence and faith in God/Creator/Source. Lady Humility may guide us to recognise what is ego-driven and what is actually coming from the heart and soul.
For assistance in connecting with these twin we have Aurora Quartz (trademarked as Anandalite), and the oil of Holy Basil (also known as Tulsi).
AURORA QUARTZ
This is a clear crystal that contains flashes and sparks of rainbow colours, each colour of course holding it’s own properties and enhanced and amplified by the clear crystal. This crystal purifies, aligns and energises all the chakras including the higher ones and is of a very high vibration. It is a beautiful master healer crystal as you might guess. Aurora Quartz may expand consciousness and bring about multi-dimensional awareness and consciousness. Aurora Quartz reminds us that we are interconnected with All including the Divine. It is known to be a stone of ascension, shifting and rebuilding our energetic patterns and to bring through enlightenment.
HOLY BASIL (Ocimum sanctum) ~ My Experience
As I connected with this oil I was shown colours of green, violet, pink and gold. The energy was strong and made my whole body tingle. To taste (and I have a cold as I connect!) it was very green and lightly spicy, not quite like the basil you put in your pasta sauce but I did feel like I’d OD’d on it! I have to say it cleared my blocked nose with quite a distinct ‘whoosh’ but I felt it quieting my mind too and left me feeling warn and tingly, especially around the crown. I felt that Holy Basil encourages stillness and would be good to work with when meditating, as it felt like it was shifting and raising my vibration. I was shown an energy pattern of spirals and helixes (or should that be helices :/ ). A lovely experience and the effect of the oil lasted some time.
I hope you’ve enjoyed the second part of this week’s offering. I’m planning a Podcast for the coming week and another newsletter the week after. In the meantime…. Have a wonderful week ahead
