Happy New Year to you All. May 2024 be a perfect year for you. I hope you all enjoyed your festivities. Doesn’t it seem like a long time ago already? Well, here I am, back into the swing of things – well, almost. I confess I’m struggling to get into the flow a bit but once I got going it was much better than I thought. Apologies for being a little late, taking things back to ‘normal’ took some doing with one thing and another.
It’s a fairly short newsletter this week but I already have the next one in mind and I’ll need to get cracking on some drawing. Enough said on that for now, the present time it is. The New Year has begun, a chance to mentally wipe the slate clean, to let things of last year go (apart from that which helps you go forward of course).
Already I see rays of hope shining through in nature and I share just a few images from my walking yesterday, or rather, that should read as plodding through mud for not only have we had so much rain here, we’ve had major pipe bursts down our leafy lane and it is like a quagmire and that is before reaching my beloved wood.
I couldn’t resist a picture of the birch for birch is the tree of new beginnings, and she shines the light for us through her eerily glowing bark. Very soon it will seem, she will start budding but I think you’ll agree, she looks stunning in here winter bareness. I was thrilled to spot the primrose, for they too, speak of hope and of the returning light once more and as for rainbows, well, you who know me know that they are somewhat an obsession!! Rainbows to me are always a ray of hope and of course of multi-coloured light and who can’t not smile at them?

BIRCH ~ BEITH 24th December to 20th January - 1st Lunar Month
The Ogham calendar, birch is the first tree.
Silvery bark, illuminated by the moon you can see,
If you venture out bravely into the wood.
Venturing forth may do much good,
As birch denotes new beginnings for you,
And most likely, fresh opportunities too.
Birch of the witch’s besom, sweeping all clean.
Taking away negative energy that cannot be seen.
The Lady of the Wood, elegant is she
In her cloak of whispering leaves, if you’ll listen, look and see.
In early spring, the golden yellow catkins give us a show,
As the little tails waggle when the breeze doth blow.
Lady, oh lady, how beautiful you are.
Admired and loved by many, near and far.
You truly are Lady of the Wood, and so much more,
For you are at the start, and hold the wisdom of ancient lore.

Now, my mind is zooming back to rainbows and it’s time once again to share the next card with you.
MAGENTA & PALE GREEN RAYS- ARCHANGEL METATRON & LADY CONSTANCE
Archangel Metatron is a powerful Archangel with a strong presence. He is known as the Archangel of Ascension and can assist with matters spiritual growth and of raising our consciousness and energetic frequency. He is linked with our deed’s in life as it is he who writes down our ‘story’ in the Book of Life, otherwise known as the Akashic records. He is the spiritual brother of Archangel Sandalphon, both of whom have been in human form. It is thought that Archangel Metatron is the prophet Enoch. He is connected to with the sacred geometric flower of life and of course, Metatron’s Cube. Metatron’s cube holds or contains all the sacred geometric shapes in God/Source creation.
Lady Constance is Archangel Metatron’s twin flame. She may assist with the grounding of our energy, of drawing down energy through us and of anchoring where it is needed. She may be of great assistance to grid works. Besides working in the ways mentioned, Lady Constance is about truth and honest and may help us in discovering and seeing the truth, our truth and of being honest as well as acting so. By facing the truth, of honouring our truth and being honest in doing so, so our energy can be elevated and then anchored to the Earth.
For enhancing connection and working with these particular twins are Moldavite and the sacred oil of Clary Sage.
MOLDAVITE – Moldavite is an extraterrestrial stone from a meteorite and is expensive to buy as it isn’t so available as many others. This pretty pale green stone works with all of the chakras and also all signs of the zodiac. Moldavite helps us go beyond our self-imposed limitations and boundaries and may assist, it is said, with communication with both your higher self and with extra-terrestrial beings. Aiding cosmic connection and with cosmic messengers and allies, it may enhance spiritual growth and also the downloading of Akashic records. A really great plus of Moldavite is that it can help us detach from materialism and support is one is experiencing a difficult life. Moldavite assists in bringing to the surface, and the release of the outworn and outdated belief systems and programmes to which we’ve all been subjected to.
CLARY SAGE
Clary holds the colour rays of Magenta and Violet it is said, but I experienced green with my oil. It is connected to the moon and mercury. Its Latin name is Salvia sclarea – sclarea meaning ‘clear’. It was used in times gone by to relieve mucosal and eye problems. In the Middle Ages, was known as Occulus Christi – The Eye of Christ. ** Clary is sedative and can affect concentration and doesn’t mix with alcohol (causes nausea)and avoid in pregnancy!! It is a relaxing oil and warming and may bring about a state of euphoria. It is a nerve tonic, thought to help with ‘ladies problems’. It may help too, digestion, sore throats. It is a balancing oil but one to use with care. Clary may assist if you are holding onto feelings of guilt and fear, bringing inner strength and fortitude and confidence. Clary – speaks of clear vision – of helping to set aside delusions and obsessions which may not be doing us any good. As it connects to the Magenta ray, Clary Sage is linked with self-sacrifice, of service, humility and of giving love, unconditionally.
My Experience with Clary Sage.
I felt coolness around my 3rd eye and crown as well as the sides of my head. I felt the oil was connecting my upper chakras with the higher ones outside of the physical body. I ’got’ a polarising of energy and this again relates to magenta. When practising colour healing, magenta light is used to polarise energy. I felt heat too, as well as coolness, from root to crown – again, balancing and polarising. I saw the colours of deep pink (magenta) violet and green. Skin came to mind and mental or head issues. All deeply7 relaxing. I heard no sound but I took that to mean it is of too high a vibration for the human ears. The taste I got was bitter with a sweet edge to it and it was very drying or astringent. I saw too, a bright golden white light whilst connecting with this oil.
So there is the card – still quite a few to go yet. I’ll finish now with the image of the flower of life and Metatron’s Cube. Drawing this (more than once I hasten to add), has led me to the next newsletter and a series of flower of life offerings and more, of course. Just in case you are unaware, Metatron’s Cube may be used for spiritual protection, so you might like to keep an image of it somewhere, or you could choose to call to the great Archangel and the Lady themselves.
